Do I need a high-speed Internet connection to stream the archived shows, video clips, and audio bits?
The faster your connection, the better your experience will be (DSL or Cable Modem connection recommended). You may still utilize the features with a 56k dial up modem. Less than 56k is not recommended as it will yield an unsatisfactory user experience.

How do I download the MP3 files?
You will be prompted to save the MP3 file when you left click on the chosen archive link under the Download column in the Archive section.

Why do I get redirected to the login screen when I try to download the MP3 files?
This happens because you have some form of internet security enabled that prevents the download of files. You will have to temporary disable this feature to allow the download of the file.

How do I stream the archived shows?
You will need a Windows Media Player or RealPlayer. All are free and are available for Windows and Macintosh. We recommend using the most up-to-date version of these players. Check your operating system specifications to see which player is suitable for you. You will obviously need to have a sound card installed on your machine and have functional speakers. If you are trying to listen from work check with your network administrator first to make sure you are able to stream files from your computer.

Note: if you are trying to listen to streaming audio or video and your computer is more than two years old, there is a strong chance that your system will have trouble. The Xtreme staff is setup to handle questions related to our web site, but unfortunately we can not handle software or hardware problems that are related to your own personal computer.

How do I skip ahead or go back to a portion of the stream I want to listen to over again?
As with any audio player, you can use the status button that moves horizontally during the regular course of the stream (located at the base of the player) by left-clicking on it and holding it while moving it to the right or left until you reach the point you want in the show. You will be able to tell where you are by looking at the counter in the lower right hand corner of the player indicating the time.

What if I am having problems using RealPlayer?
Please visit the RealPlayer support page at http://service.real.com/rpoptions.html. There is a wealth of information available. Simply select the version of RealPlayer that you use and type a short description of your problem. You can also browse their technical support documents for assistance.

What if I am having problems using Windows Media player?
Please visit the Windows Media support page at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/default.aspx. There is a wealth of information available. You can also browse their technical support documents for assistance.
